DescriptionThe Graduate Certificate in Chemical Engineering looks at industrial research problems in the areas of mass and heat transfer, fluid mechanics, chemical equilibrium, and chemical kinetics. Coursework familiarizes students with the fundamentals of the field and provides them with the tools required to create industrial chemical processes.

Under the guidance of our faculty members you will explore research opportunities in the Department of Mechanical, Industrial, and Aerospace Engineering, the Concordia Centre for Composites, and the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Our researchers are also working with members of the Simone de Beauvoir Institute to improve female participation in engineering degrees. Professionals looking to enrich their current careers make up a large proportion of the student body and enrich the collective classroom experiences.
