It is based on a transactional model of learning with a focus on biomedical, psycho/social, environmental/cultural, and religio/ethical aspects, and aims to provide students with a holistic understanding of aging.

The certificate is available through full or part-time studies to all students. It can be combined with a specialization or concentration in another discipline.
