Description | This program emphasizes the development of a broad range of business skills with attention to the specific demands of Golf Club Management. You’ll learn how to keep a facility running smoothly: ensuring the grounds are kept properly, the pro shop is stocked, staff is well trained and food service meets customer expectations. Courses in events management and marketing prepare you to host tournaments and club events. Best of all, you’ll develop these skills through site tours, and training at golf courses across P.E.I., while learning techniques and standards from industry professionals. You’ll improve your game, and learn how to improve the game for others.
You will learn all those skills and improve your game while training at a professional outdoor golf facility. Upon graduation, you’ll be ready to go to work, or go for a third year and get your Professional Golf Management diploma. | | |
