| Description | This program offers beginner, intermediate, and advanced-level studies in French, as well as courses in French-speaking cultures. Language instruction emphasizes Parisian French, with Canadian and other dialects mentioned for comparative purposes. Courses explore linguistics, translation, culture, and discourse analysis. This major can also be taken as part of a BA Honors degree.
