Description | This program is for recent university/college graduates who want to successfully combine their passion for the arts, culture and heritage with strong, focused business management skills. Challenging courses, along with the numerous, varied field placements, set Humber's program apart from the rest. Participants receive the specialized knowledge, skills, and experience required to work in the cultural sector where job responsibilities focus on attracting resources to the cultural organization, including earned revenue (sales, marketing and sponsorship development) and contributed revenue (grants, donations). Humber's curriculum stresses the development of teamwork, decision-making and project management skills. Students learn to utilize current electronic support tools (Excel, Access, Simply Accounting, Raisers Edge, Income Manager) in areas of research, database and spreadsheet management. Graduates enjoy a high success rate for employment. | | |
