Description | Improvise a scene, be a Shakespearean hero, improve your voice, tell a story, learn what makes a character tick, even perform in public! The study of drama is far from a vocational exercise. Familiarity with theatre and other arts provides essential life skills that manifest themselves in a variety of employment settings.
Any career that requires you to deal with the public, communicate verbally, and respond spontaneously would benefit from a Drama class or two. Graduates of the Drama program are ‘performing’ in their chosen careers, whether it be on stage, in classrooms or boardrooms. Drama courses will help you discover your role in the ‘creative’ economy. | | |
