DescriptionPsychology studies what motivates people to do the things that they do and how society effects human thought, learning, and action. Psychology graduates learn to critically engage assumptions about human nature, and understand how these assumptions are important in our modern world, and in the light of a Christian faith commitment. Dig into cognition and the activities of the mind, and examine how physical disorders in the structural and chemical make-up of the brain can lead to a variety of behavioural and mental illness challenges. Graduates pursue exciting careers in human services, rehabilitation, early childhood education, mental health related occupations, and many more. The degree is also an excellent choice for those who want to enter professional programs such as architecture, law, and education.
