You'll spend approximately $1,000 per year for books and supplies. In semester three, if you register for the Study Abroad Field Experience (SAFE) course there will be an additional cost of approximately $2000.

| Description | Do you dream of traveling the world? Are you looking at beginning a career in one of the world’s fastest growing industries? The tourism sector in Canada is currently a $90 billion industry employing almost 1.8 million people (Source: Tourism HR Canada). If you are a people person and have a passion for discovering what the world has to offer, this program is for you.
The Tourism-Global Travel program combines practical hands-on experiences with class lectures. Students learn the key elements of the travel business through courses such as: Discovering Destinations, Service Systems Management, Tour Operations, Tourism Trends, Tourism and Hospitality Marketing, Travel Reservations and Hospitality Sales, plus electives in business. You will have the opportunity to meet industry leaders through events, program field trips and guest lecturers. You can also join other School of Business students on an international learning experience to get a first-hand look at various tourism destinations. The 200 hour field placement provides practical knowledge, career opportunities and connections in the industry.
The program provides the leadership and practical skills needed to work for tour operators, destination marketing organizations, travel agencies, cruise lines, hotels, resorts, or tourism and travel service providers. Complete a second business or hospitality diploma in one year, or continue your formal education with our partner universities in Canada, Australia, Ireland or Scotland. | | |
