DescriptionThis is a new two-year Diploma Program designed by the Adler Faculty of Psychotherapy to prepare students to meet entry-to-practice competencies for registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. The new Postgraduate Diploma in Competency-Based Psychotherapy (CBP) is a structured, coherent graduate-level program that combines widely accepted educational standards for foundations in psychological knowledge and inquiry with courses designed specifically for psychotherapy practice in Ontario and with training in at least one Modality-Specific Program (MSP) either at Adler or through other Alliance of Psychotherapy Training institutions.

The full diploma may be completed in as little as two years, depending on the time required for completing direct client contact and supervision hours and on MSP requirements.
