Description | Optimize health and performance and prevent injury and illness by understanding human movement in all its complexities and applications. Learn about movement from the perspectives of physiology, anatomy, psychology, sociology, biomechanics, lifestyle and behaviour. Understand human movement in relation to fields of health, clinical science and practice, disease prevention, lifestyle, and sport, gaining a deeper appreciation for how we are “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139). Acquire hands-on experience in our fully-equipped metabolic, neuromuscular, biomechanical, developmental and psychomotor labs, making you “job ready” upon graduation or preparing you for the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario (CKO) certification. | | |
