| Description | This certificate program offers five levels of instruction, from Foundations to Advanced levels and ultimately the English for Academic Purposes level. Upon completion of the program (and pass one General Elective course), students will receive a General Arts and Science Ontario College Certificate and may apply to other Sheridan programs without further language testing.
Sheridan offers a very hands-on learning experience that encourages classroom interaction through the use of group projects and assignments that require interaction in the community. Students will practice speaking and listening in a computerized language lab, and will learn to conduct computer research, note taking and essay writing in English. | | |
