DescriptionThis Ontario College Graduate Certificate program provides students with the skills and competencies necessary to work in non-profit organizations. Students learn about strategic planning, human resources, volunteer management, advocacy and community development, communications, legal and ethical considerations, governance, fundraising and donor management, financial management, advocacy and government relations and risk management.

The program of study focuses on student-centered learning while working in a technology-enhanced environment. Students prepare various assignments in the classroom and online to enhance the collaborative learning environment. This graduate certificate can help professionals advance their knowledge or develop new skills to pursue a career in the non-profit sector. To qualify for this certificate, program requirements must be met within five years.
