Description
This is a joint Bachelor of Education degree program with the University of Winnipeg for holders of an undergraduate degree. The time you will require to complete the program is dependent on the type of undergraduate degree you hold.
The program develops the teaching and technical skills you require for teaching business and information communication technology education programs in the public school system.
Emphasis is placed on developing your knowledge and skills in the following areas:
- Information communication technologies
- Digital photography and film
- Animation and multimedia
- Accounting
- Economics
- Entrepreneurship
- Marketing/retailing
- Management
- Teaching methodology for business and technology education
When you successfully complete the three-year after-degree program you will have earned a diploma in Business/Technology Teacher Education from Red River College and a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Winnipeg.
