By taking political science at U of T Scarborough, you’ll develop a strong, practical skillset and study the issues you care about most through our wide range of courses. You’ll gain the skills to design and execute your own research projects, and create evidence-backed arguments in a range of formats, from research papers and policy briefs to case studies and book reviews.

In our major program, you'll get in-depth training in current issues and debates within the field. Our specialist program offers you a broad and deep knowledge of the study of enduring issues of power and authority, citizenship and governance, justice and legitimacy, and patterns of conflict and co-operation from historic to modern times.
