“ The most influential course I took was Writing Workshop in French with Dr. Nadine de Moras. The skills I acquired through this class assisted me while applying to law school as I had a greater understanding and practice of writing in another language. ”

“ I chose the French program because of its direct path to Western’s Faculty of Education, but little did I know, the program was much more than a simple path! Through the French program, I was able to gain volunteer experience, contacts that lead to work experience and of course eminently better written and spoken French. ”

“ I will never forget my time as a Brescia student. As a graduate of the French program, the small class sizes, community feel, and outstanding professors allowed me to grow and succeed academically and personally. I always felt like I mattered and that I belonged; this is the feeling that I strive to create for my students every single day as a Grade 1/2 French Immersion teacher. ”
