Develop the knowledge, skills and judgement needed to become a self-regulated health professional. A large part of your training will include hands-on clinical practice. Students work with clients from the community on-site in Canadore’s Dental Hygiene Clinic, where they offer free dental hygiene services as they put their clinical theory into practice. Graduates are in high demand, finding employment in dental offices, hospitals, and research institutes. This program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada.

  • CPR (HCP/BLS level)- $80
  • Standard First Aid Certification-$80
  • Health Immunizations (See Communicable Disease Screening documents)- cost will vary
  • Campus Health Centre Health Clearance Card- $35
  • Clinical attire (details to be discussed in first week) - approximately $250
  • Manual Blood Pressure Cuff and Stethoscope- $150

*Costs are approximate and additional clinical items may be required as policies and procedures are reviewed with students in September

Complete prior to September start up:
