Admission Requirements

Prerequisites:*These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
  •  Grade12 English 
  •  Grade12 Applied Mathematics  or  Grade12 Foundations for College Mathematics (MAP4C)  or  Grade12 Principles of Mathematics  or  Grade12 Precalculus 
Applicants are required to have: C in English 12 or equivalent and B in Workplace Math 11 or equivalent.
Test Scores:
  • Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 60] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.0] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 80]
Additional Admission Requirements:

    Adventure Guiding option applicants must also complete the medical forms and physician’s assessment as required for admission to the Adventure Guiding Certificate.
