| Description: | Develop your musical skills and knowledge with VCC’s new music immersion classes. Students will learn the essential rudiments of music theory and practice (melody, chords, scales, rhythm, triads, intervals, form and analysis) from VCC’s renowned faculty, in a collaborative and supportive environment. These preparatory courses allow both beginner adult musicians, and experienced adult musicians, including those who play by ear, the opportunity to learn to read and write music notation, and be fluent in music literacy. In order to register for preparatory individual lessons, the student must complete an audition.
