Description:The Psychology Department is home to 26 labs where faculty members conduct research in Brain, Behaviour and Cognitive Science, as well as Developmental, Social, and Clinical Psychology. Students have the opportunity to work alongside faculty researchers and graduate students, investigating topics such as sexuality, bullying, mood disorders, and infant cognition. Our Introductory Psychology course uses an innovative and engaging course design to build strong foundational knowledge in the psychological sciences. In addition to lectures, students are guided through concepts using a combination of reading, and interactive on-line materials. Students also work in small groups of 6 to explore psychological phenomena and test theories. This is truly a student-centered approach.
