Description:Starting in Fall 2020 we will be offering a course-based MNSc option with a focus on advanced nursing practice. Students will take the same four core courses as thesis-based students in the first year and then complete a clinical project course during the summer and continuing into the fall of Year 2. Students are also required to take three 800-level electives from a pre-approved list of courses in the School of Nursing, the School of Rehabilitation Therapy, and the Department of Public Health Sciences.

Admission Requirements

Prerequisites:*These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Applicants are required to have a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing with B average (3.0 GPA), registration (or registration eligibility) as RN with College of Nurses of Ontario, malpractice insurance, and undergraduate courses in research methods & statistics.

    • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based)
    Application Notes : For international students, if required, TOEFL iBT minimum scores of: writing (24/30); speaking (22/30); reading (22/30); listening (20/30), for a total of 88/120. Applicants must have the minimum score in each test as well as the minimum overall score.
