Description:The department of computer science offers thesis-based master's and doctoral programs. In general, the master's program trains graduates who will become senior technical professionals in industry or prepares students for entry into a doctoral program. The doctoral program trains graduates for careers in academic or industrial research.

We also offer a post-degree specialization certificate (PDSC) which is intended for students who have completed or are completing a four year University degree in some other discipline, and who wish to complete a Computer Science program in addition.

Admission Requirements

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.

    Applicants will have completed a four-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science with high standing. Students with other backgrounds may also be considered for admittance in exceptional circumstances, but will be required to make up background deficiencies through additional courses. Applicants can also be guided in the appropriate selection of preparatory courses that would qualify them for admission consideration.

    Test Scores:
    • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 600] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Computer Based) [min. 250] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 7.0]
