Description:Our mission is to integrate science, engineering and medicine by bringing together many different disciplines in a unique collaboration to improve human health and enrich the educational experience of students. We educate our students in the fundamentals of science, engineering and medicine, and train them to carry their scientific expertise and engineering skills from the research labs to the actual world of medical technologies, and also to bring clinical insights from the patients to the research laboratories.

Admission Requirements

Prerequisites:*These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    To qualify for admission to the Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering program, you must hold a four-year Bachelor of Science in engineering, natural sciences, or medicine/health sciences from a recognized university. In addition, the following pre-requisite courses are required prior to an offer of admission:
  • MATH 1210 Linear Algebra
  • MATH 1510: Calculus 01
  • PHYS 1050: Physics 01
    Individual research groups and programs may require additional degrees, credentials, pre-requisites and/or more specific degree requirements.
