Description:Engineering Physics is designed for students who wish to enter fields of research and development that require extra training in physics, mathematics, electronics and computers. The program emphasizes the application of scientific principles to the design of experiments and electronic systems for use in measurements, communications, and data acquisition. The program is recommended for students interested in newly developing areas of physics, high technology, instrumentation and communications. Graduates may proceed to a post-graduate degree in Physics and Engineering Physics or in other branches of engineering. There is also a double degree program in Engineering Physics/Computer Science that has proven to be very effective for the high technology job market and for graduate work.
