Admission Requirements

Prerequisites:*These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
  •  Grade12 English 
C in English 12 or equivalent or IELTS 6.0 or equivalent with band scores of 6.0 in Writing/Reading/Listening/Speaking.


A signed Requisite Skills and Abilities (RSA) document. The RSA document describes the requirements for practice in early childhood care and education. Prospective students need to review these and decide whether they believe they are able to meet them. Should you have concerns about being able to meet the RSA’s, please contact the ECCE Department Chair

Test Scores:
  • Canadian Academic English Language Assessment or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based)
