The Solar Energy Technician program provides comprehensive training in the installation, design, and maintenance of residential or commercial solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. 

The online Solar Energy Technician Certificate is an open-enrolment program with no predetermined time limits. That means you can start at your convenience and finish at your own pace.

Applicants must have

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma (with credits at or above the general level) or its equivalent, or mature student status*
• Application Form

This online distance program is only available for study while remaining in your home country and does not qualify for study or work permit eligibility in Canada.

*If you are 19 years or older and do not have a high school diploma, you may apply as a mature student.
