Humber’s Bachelor of Paralegal Studies program is a four-year Honours Degree program that has received accreditation by the Law Society of Ontario as a paralegal education program. Combining legal theory with practical applications, courses cover ethics and professional responsibility, negotiation and mediation, evidence, advocacy, tort law, contract law, insurance law and employment law. Students are provided with the legal foundation needed to consider a career as a licensed paralegal.
We believe that properly representing a client includes understanding the client’s background and motivation. As a result, our program has eight electives which provide students with the opportunity to study social science, humanities and science.
