Humber’s Wellness Coaching graduate certificate program prepares you to work in the field of health and wellness coaching. The program's online delivery is uniquely designed with the working student in mind. Throughout the program you will gain knowledge and skills for promoting health and wellness and preventing or managing disease. You will also learn to establish effective coaching relationships; support sustainable behaviour change through practices such as motivational interviewing and mindfulness; manage health and wellness programs; and improve quality of life for people with chronic conditions. You will empower individuals and groups to self-advocate, as they set and achieve healthy behaviour change goals. You will engage with clients in experiential learning opportunities via Humber’s Health Sciences & Wellness Clinic and also in field placements within a variety of organizational settings.
The Wellness Coaching program offers several exciting certifications and opportunities for students.
