Description:Prepare for a career managing electrical energy — both from renewable and conventional sources — as an electrical engineer with courses in power systems, electrical design and control and automation.


The Electrical Engineering Technology program offers comprehensive training in power systems, electrical design, and control and automation. The program prepares students for careers managing electrical energy from renewable and conventional energy sources. Graduates work in a variety of settings, including power generating facilities, industrial complexes, substations, laboratories, construction sites, and offices.

  •  Grade12 English 
Completion of the following courses or equivalents:



At least 60% in Math 30-1 or Pure Math 30, or at least 75% in Math 30-2,


At least 60% in English Language Arts 30-1 or 75% in English Language Arts 30-2,


At least 60% in Physics 20.



All applicants must demonstrate English Language Proficiency prior to admission, including students educated in Canada.
