Admission Requirements

Prerequisites:*These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.

    High school graduation, including 5 full credits at the Grade 12 level.

    A minimum average of 80% over the following, with no less than 60% in each course:

    •  Requirement: 50 % in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics 40S (if taking PHYS 1020); 60% in Pre-Calculus Math or 70% in Applied Math 40S; 60% in Physics 40S (if taking PHYS 1050)
    • Advanced entry Applicants are those who have completed one year (24 credit hours) or more of studies in another faculty at the University of Manitoba or another recognized post-secondary institution, including BIOL 1030
