Description:The Department of Philosophy is home to 18 faculty with a broad range of research areas and a thriving community of 45 Master’s and Doctoral students. Our expertise spans history of philosophy, feminism, ethics, social and political philosophy, philosophy of mind, language, epistemology, metaphysics, and philosophy of science. Masters students can choose between a one-year program that includes course work and a major research project, or a two-year program that includes a thesis.

Admission Requirements
