Humber’s General Arts and Science – University Transfer diploma program will allow you to develop the academic skills you need to continue on to degree-level studies with a variety of university partners.



There are over 30 different degree programs offered at Humber and University of Guelph-Humber where you can continue your studies with direct transfer credits. In addition, you will be eligible for studies in liberal arts, humanities or the social sciences at University of Toronto (both Mississauga and St. George campuses) and at York University with direct transfer credits equivalent with up to over a full year of university study (grade dependent). If you want to experience degree-level courses to prepare yourself for university, to gain admission to the best institutions, and to get transfer credits, then the General Arts and Science – University Transfer diploma program is for you.

Admission Requirements

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent including these required courses:


Grade 12 English (ENG4C or ENG4U or equivalent)

Mature student status

College or university transfer status

Test Scores:
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 550] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 80] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.0] or Michigan English Language Assessment Battery [min. 76]
