Applicants are required to have successful completion of one of the following: Grade 12 with English 12 or English or 12: First Peoples; or ABE/Academic Upgrading Advanced Certificate plus English 045; or GED Certificate plus English 045 or English 12 or English 12: First Peoples. |Application Notes : ||International students are required to have a minimum TOEFL score of 80 (IBT), an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent as determined by College of New Caledonia, or have completed CNC’s English for Academic Purposes.
|Additional Admission Requirements:||
Applicants are required to have completion of the English component of the SRA; two references from a Social Service employer, volunteer supervisor, teacher, or social service professional, attesting to their personal suitability for work in this field; and a work/volunteer experience resumé. Applicants must have at least 30 verifiable hours of volunteer experience in the past three years. Applicants are also required to submit a written statement (max. 4 pages) on their interest in the social service field, their understanding of what the field is about, and the personal attributes that would make them a viable candidate for this program.
