Description:Not every classroom has four walls. Our Event Planning program offers you the opportunity to gain valuable experiential planning, coordination and execution experience across the multiple facets of the events management industry. The program focuses on event planning, design, coordination, marketing, sponsorship, budgeting, risk management and event evaluation.

Admission Requirements

Prerequisites:*These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
  •  Grade12 English 
  •   Mathematics 
Applicants must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, or equivalent (if applying as a mature student 19 years of age or older), with completion of Grade 12 English (C or U), and either Grade 11 Math (M or U) or Grade 12 (C or U).
Test Scores:
  • International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.0] or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 60] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 80]
Additional Admission Requirements:
    Applicants may also qualify for admission through completion of the Hospitality Services (Pre-Hospitality) program (H101) with an overall grade point average of 3.0. There are a limited number of seats available and admission is not guaranteed.
