Description:Combine practical experiences in agricultural production with the technical and scientific information required to successfully operate a farm or work in agribusiness.
Learn the science, technology and business of agriculture, as you select courses in your area of interest. You can focus your studies in the areas of agribusiness, crops, livestock or fruit and vegetable production. In this program, you will learn about current industry issues and research solutions through classroom teaching and laboratory sessions.

    OSSD or equivalent, a minimum 60% average, in 6 Grade 11 or Grade 12 C, M or U courses, excluding Co-op credits; including a minimum of Grade 11C Math and 12C English.; OR Mature Student Status.

    Test Scores:
    • International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 600] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Computer Based) [min. 250] or Michigan English Language Assessment Battery [min. 85] or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 70]
    Application Notes : Applicants required to provide evidence of English proficiency must meet one of the following four proficiency requirements: The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a score of 600 (paper-based) or 250 (computer-based), and Test of Written English (TWE) with a score 5 (discretionary range of 4.5), and Test of Spoken English (TSE) with a score of 50. The Michigan English Assessment Battery (MELAB) with a minimum overall score of 85 and a minimum composition score of 83. In addition, applicants must present a minimum score on the oral test of three (3) The Canadian English Language Assessment (CAEL) with a minimum overall band score of 70 Successful completion of the University of Guelph Open Learning and Educational Support Advanced Level of the English Language Certificate Program at the University of Guelph.
