Description:This is a pre-employment Record of Achievement program designed in collaboration with Nunavut and Federal governments, Canada-Nunavut Geoscience Office, Nunavut Arctic College, Regional Training Organizations, NTI and mineral exploration companies. This course will provide students with a marketable set of job knowledge and skills, increasing their potential to be employed as prospectors or geologic field assistants by mineral exploration companies or field research groups.

Admission Requirements

Prerequisites:*These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Applicants wishing to apply to this course must be 17 years of age or older, have a minimum of Grade 8 or ABE level 120 Math and English, and speak and write in English.
