Description:Massage is a health care profession, which is regulated under the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA) in Ontario. In order to receive certification as a massage therapist (Registered Massage Therapist), one must complete at least 2,200 hours of training, and pass the school's examinations and the examinations of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). Our graduating classes of 2000, 2001, and 2002 achieved an outstanding 100% success rate at the CMTO certification examinations.

The Elmcrest Massage Therapy diploma program begins twice annually. Students who begin in September have a summer break in July and August.

Admission Requirements

Prerequisites:*These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    All applicants to the Massage Therapy Diploma Program are required to take Bryan College’s Pre-Admissions Science Course prior to commencing. This course is 15 hours total. The course was designed to help students gain a clear understanding of the field of Massage Therapy, including basic terminology within the industry and anatomy and physiology.
