First year consists of a common curriculum with classes in Canadian Constitutional Law, Contracts, Criminal Law and Procedure, Property Law, Torts, Legal Research and Writing, Public Law and Transnational Law. Most classes are taught in groups of approximately 45, providing students with more opportunities to receive detailed feedback from their professors than is possible in larger classes.
