Program Information

School:University of New Brunswick - Fredericton
Faculty:Faculty of Arts
Degree:Bachelor; Honours
Field of Study:Philosophy
Description:Philosophy investigates many of the big questions of life: what is a human being? Are there such things as justice, beauty or God? What counts as knowledge?

Investigating these and other questions, such as the nature of time, the relation between body and mind, how we define good and bad, is a conversation that draws from great thinkers-‐-‐past and present. This is a discipline that challenges each of us to think about these kinds of problems critically, creatively and systematically.
