Tailor your studies to fit your busy schedule. All courses are online with the exception of a few classroom sessions, with video conference access if you are a distance student. The Bachelor of Arts in Adult Education program is completely flexible and allows you to: study part-time or full time, choose online courses on a rotating schedule, take evening and Saturday classes, and earn credit for prior learning, including from non-traditional settings.

There are 2 options to be accepted into the Bachelor of Arts in Adult Education program. Applicants must have attended some post-secondary school. This includes students who have completed the WEC program. The Adult Education department will also consider applications from working professionals with at least three years of significant and relevant Adult Education or related experience, even though they may not possess the required GPA, course grades, or course currency necessary for entry into the degree program. The department will exercise its discretion in such cases and, where warranted, accept students on a conditional basis. Students accepted to the program under this applicant category will be required by the department to support their application by submitting a resume and/or letters of reference to the program advisor, as determined by the department.
