Description:The four-year Bachelor of Music in Performance is a professional music degree that prepares students for careers in professional performance, professional studio teaching, graduate music school and eventual university teaching. It is also an excellent option for a pre-med, pre-dental or pre-law program (with appropriate elective courses). Full admission to the program will be granted upon a successful audition at the end of the 1st year of applied studies.

Students wishing to apply for admission to this program must present a minimum overall average of 60% with no grade below 55%. Average must include English 30-1 (or equivalent).
Application Notes : All students entering any program in music (as major, concentration, specialization, or minor) must take the following placement exams offered yearly during Fall Semester registration:
◦Music Theory Placement Exam
◦Musicianship Skills Placement Exam
Additional Admission Requirements:
    Keyboard/Instrumental applicants: Perform two contrasting selections (one or more movements each). Minimum performance level Grade 9 Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) or equivalent.
    Vocal applicants: Perform two contrasting selections, at least one selection in a second language. Minimum performance level Grade 7 Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) or equivalent.
