Admission Requirements

Prerequisites:*These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
  •  Grade12 English 
Applicants are required to have: B.C. secondary school graduation or equivalent; and prerequisite to or completion of CMNS 125 or ENGL 105 (see Note) and a minimum C+ average on two other Approved Grade 12 courses. Acceptance will be conditional upon proof of having met these entrance requirements. Applicants are encouraged to submit proof as soon as it is available and prior to registering. Note: English 12 equivalent courses include English 12 First Peoples, English Literature 12, AP English, and IB English A (standard level or higher level).

  • International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5] or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 70] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 88] or CanTEST [min. 4.5] or Michigan English Language Assessment Battery [min. 85]
