|The triOS College Pharmacy Assistant Diploma Program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to start a rewarding career as a Pharmacy Assistant.
The Pharmacy Assistant is responsible for receiving prescriptions, drug preparation, clerical and computer duties, inventory management and customer service in the dispensary. Pharmacy Assistants must at all times work directly under the supervision and guidance of the Pharmacist. The role is meant to assist the Pharmacist in the dispensing process of the product to allow the Pharmacist to have more time to provide pharmaceutical care. The Pharmacy Assistant Program prepares students for employment opportunities in retail, hospital and other healthcare settings. The triOS Pharmacy Assistant Program has significant benefits over programs offered at Community Colleges.
