For admission to this program, applicants are required to have completed first-year requirements with no failures. Students must have an average of at least 70% in the following 3.0 principal courses, with no mark in these principal courses below 60%: 0.5 course: Social Justice and Peace Studies 1025F/G, or the former Social Justice and Peace Studies 1020E. 0.5 course: Social Justice and Peace Studies 1026F/G, or the former Social Justice and Peace Studies 2200E. 1.0 course from: Childhood and Social Institutions 1025F/G, the former 1020; Disability Studies 1010A/B; Economics 1021A/B, 1022A/B, 1020; First Nations Studies 1020E; Geography 1100, 1500F/G, 1400F/G; History 1401E, 1404E, or the former 1403E, History 1601E, 1801E, 1812F/G, 1813F/G, 1814F/G, 1901E; Philosophy 1150E, 1300E, 1360E, 1901E; Political Science 1020E; Psychology 1000, 1000W/X; Religious Studies 1022A/B, 1023E, 1027E; Social Work 1021A/B, 1022A/B, the former 1020; Sociology 1020, 1020W/X, 1021E; or Women's Studies 1020E. 1.0 additional course.
