Description: | The UVic Department of Greek and Roman Studies offers a wide spectrum of programs leading to the BA degree. These range from intensive Honours programs (30 out of 60 units), which should be started as soon as possible, to the General program (as few as 12 out of 60 units), which can be undertaken as late as the third or even fourth year. In addition, a Minor in this field (9 units at the 300/400 level) may be added to an Honours or Major degree in another field. Students are welcome at any time to discuss their program with the Undergraduate advisor (Clearihue B424; 721 8515) or Chair (Clearihue B413; 721 8522) and are encouraged to do so as early as possible in the course of their studies.
