Description:The Graduate Diploma in Environmental Education and Communication is a leadership program that focuses on developing the competency and skill of educators and communicators who have an interest in, or responsibility for presenting environmental information to audiences.

This interdisciplinary program builds theoretical and practical knowledge and skills as well as strengthens student’s understanding of environmental studies and sustainability, learning theory, environmental education, educational program development, philosophical and cultural analysis, journalism and communications.

Applicants are required to have a four-year (or comparable) undergraduate degree in a related field, with a minimum GPA of 'B' (3.00/4.33), from a recognized post-secondary institution, and at least two years of relevant work or volunteer experience. Applicants who meet the degree requirement, but not the GPA requirement, will normally be required to take "Academic Writing and Critical Thinking" and obtain a minimum final grade of B (73%).
