    All applicants to the certificate program must have successfully completed Concepts and Practice of Technical Communication and Technical Writing and Editing. Once you have completed these two courses you can apply to the certificate program.

    You should also have good computer skills, enjoy using and learning new computer applications, have competent oral and written language skills and be comfortable when interviewing others for information.
