While we often assume that everyday worlds are simply what we inherit, philosophy teaches us that human beings fashion worlds by the choices we make, the concepts we employ, the thoughts we generate, and how we interact and interrelate with others.
The philosophy program at King’s offers you the opportunity to explore these ideas through focus on world philosophies and cultures, social and political thought, and classical philosophers from all ages. Our world-class and dedicated faculty are committed to personalist models of teaching to help you develop critical reasoning skills, sustained reading abilities, and sound argumentation. Studying philosophy, you will be inspired and challenged to think more deeply, critically, and creatively while building relationships with a close community of fellow philosophy students.
