Description:The Bachelor of Commerce program at Dalhousie is a four-year accredited Co-operative Education program that combines academic study with business experience. Employers advertise paid jobs for the work terms. Students can do work terms around the world! Students have the opportunity to complete one academic term abroad with universities around the world, including Australia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Korea, Mexico, New Zealand and Sweden.

Commerce students are all members of the Commerce Society and are represented by class representatives. The Society has its own facility and offers networking opportunities to students, ability to participate in challenging University Business Games, as well as dances, concerts and lots more! All students are encouraged to get involved.

Admission Requirements

Prerequisites:*These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
  •  Grade12 English 
Applicants are also required to have one academic Math course, and three other university preparatory courses. A minimum of 70% is required in Grade 12 English, and 70% overall average in the final year of secondary school.

Recommended courses include: Accounting, Economics, and Calculus or Pre-Calculus.
