Description:The Community Support Services Department provides employment and community access services to support adults with developmental disabilities. These services are designed to assist each individual in attaining his/her unique employment and/or community inclusion goals.

Employment Services support each student in securing and maintaining competitive employment in his/her field of interest. Services offered include: employment preparation classes, work experience placements leading to competitive employment, job coaching, and extensive long-term follow-up support.

Admission Requirements

Prerequisites:*These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    The Community Support Services Department provides services for adults with developmental disabilities. Students must meet eligibility criteria for funding as established by the Calgary Region Community Board Persons with Developmental Disabilities (CRCB PDD). In addition to meeting the CRCB PDD eligibility requirements, our intake staff evaluate each student in light of our capacity to provide a sufficient level of support.
