The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Education (PBDE) is an innovative program that responds to the professional development needs of teachers and administrators. With your enrollment in the PBDE program, you will discover the most effective methods of practice and curriculum advances, taught by faculty members and often by individuals from the educational community, e.g. school division superintendents, school principals.

Applicants require: a Bachelor of Education degree and one of the following types of certificates granted by Manitoba Education, Citizenship and Youth: General Certificate, Limited Certificate, or Clinicians' Certificate; or equivalent from other provinces; or a bachelor's degree and two years of appropriate teaching/work experience.

For provincially certified teachers, the Bachelor’s degree requirement should be specified to have a minimum GPA of 2.0. Permanent Professional Certificate and Provisional Learning Certificate have been renamed from General Certificate and Limited Certificate, respectively.
